Summer at La Garenne brings together children and teenagers aged 5 to 16 from around the world for an unforgettable experience in the Swiss Alps. With boarding and day options available, children make friends, discover different cultures and create memories that last long after they return home.
Our 2027 programme combines English or French language learning with outdoor adventures, sports, creative activities and excursions, all within the safe and supportive environment of our international boarding school.

Adventure, Sport and New Experiences
Trying new things is an important part of Summer Camp. Our programme offers a wide variety of activities, from outdoor adventures in the Swiss Alps to sports, creative activities, excursions and cultural experiences. Children can also choose from selected additional options, including our Juventus Football Programme, now available for ages 8 to 16, and our brand-new Summer Golf Academy.
Age Groups
Our Summer Camps are organised into three age groups: 5 to 9, 10 to 12 and 13 to 16. This allows us to offer activities and experiences suited to each child’s age, abilities and interests.
More than just a Summer Camp
Camp is an opportunity to learn, grow and become more independent. Through immersion in English or French, children develop their language skills naturally, while making international friendships, discovering different cultures and learning to take greater responsibility for themselves in a supportive camp environment.
Whether joining us as a boarding or day student, children can look forward to an active and varied summer filled with friendship, discovery and new experiences in one of Switzerland’s most beautiful mountain settings.
Summer Camp Fees

Summer Camp fees include:

Summer Camp fees do not include:
- Optional extras, such as Juventus Football, Paragliding and the Photo Package
- Compulsory Swiss health and medical insurance

Summer Camps FAQs
Boarding students arrive on Sunday and stay at camp until Saturday at the end of their session. Day Students attend from 08:50 to 18:00, Monday to Saturday in the first week and Monday to Friday in the final week.
Full board and accommodation, English or French lessons, activities and excursions, transport for off-campus activities, personal laundry, and transfers to and from Geneva Airport on official dates and within the published schedules. Summer Camp uniform is also included for students aged 5-12.
Lunch and a snack, English or French lessons, activities and excursions, and transport for off-campus activities. Summer Camp uniform is also included for students aged 5-12.
Optional extras, Swiss health and medical insurance, pocket money, flights to and from Switzerland, charges for damage to school property and any additional expenses incurred during camp. We strongly recommend that parents take out comprehensive travel and cancellation insurance.
Boarding students stay in our comfortable, modern boarding houses on campus, supervised by our residential staff.
Day Students attend from 08:50 to 18:00, Monday to Saturday in the first week and Monday to Friday in the final week. Morning classes start at 09:00.
Teenagers aged 13-16 enjoy a programme designed especially for their age group, combining English or French classes with sports, outdoor adventures, excursions and activities in the Swiss Alps.
Students choose English or French for their morning classes, Monday to Friday. Classes are available for all levels, from complete beginner to advanced.
Boarding students are supervised throughout their stay by experienced La Garenne staff. Day Students are supervised throughout their daily programme and activities. Supervision is adapted according to students’ ages and the activities taking place.
Yes. If parents plan to stay in the local area during Summer Camp, their child must attend as a Day Student. Boarding works best when children are fully immersed in camp life and able to settle into their new routine and develop independence.
