The French department has always been a very popular choice for foreign students who wish to learn the language. The small class sizes at an average of 9 students per class, creates a positive and constructive working atmosphere favouring the integration of everyone and helps the students to progress and receive all the help they need. The French department follows the official French programme from CE1 to the 5ème year. The department accommodates children from 7-13 years of age. The lessons are taught by dynamic teachers who have many years of experience teaching French to French speaking students as well as international students. The academic system is complemented by extracurricular activities such as art, music, computers and sport.
The French students also follow an English foreign language programme in order to be bilingual by the end of their first year. They then go on to perfection their knowledge of the language.
At the end of each term the students have term exams and evaluations which enable us to test knowledge and to readjust individual objectives. We have put everything in place to create an education which is balanced, bilingual and of the highest quality which responds to the particular needs of each child.
